Team Colonies finished off Team States in five with a 1-0 win. Unknown scored the game winner.
They will face Team Nine who won in five as well, it was culdesacc burying a breakaway for the gwg in a 3-2 game. This series had 5 games, 4 were decided by 1 goal, 2 of which took an extra period.
The World Champions will be crowned next week with games 1 and 2 scheduled for Sunday night.
Team States and team Ontario will pair off next week for the Bronze medal game.
The Junior Championships:
Team Colonies swept Team States (10-0, 11-4, 5-2, 5-4 (ot)). They await the winner of the Canadian series.
Team Nine Jr's won their game just in time, a game four winner. Ontario Jrs lead that series 3-1. They will play as many games as needed tomorrow night to finish the series.
The winner will play Colonies for a championship starting Sunday while Team States awaits the loser.
